Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and experience with various accounting software.

Duties:

- Perform accounts payable functions including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling discrepancies
- Assist with general ledger accounting tasks
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, UltiPro, and Sage 100 for financial transactions
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Qualifications:

- High school education or equivalent related preferred
- Prior experience in public accounting or a similar role is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software like Workday, Kronos, and Sage 100
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations accurately
- Familiarity with Sage for payroll processing is advantageous
- Experience with accounts payable processes and general ledger entries
