Accounting Clerk jobs in Wisconsin

A growing manufacturer in West Allis is seeking a temp to permanent Accounting Clerk to join their team. We are seeking someone with a degree (Associate or Bachelor’s) in the accounting or finance space and at least an internship experience. This entry-level position has growth opportunities within the department. This job is fully in the office Monday through Friday and regular hours of 8am to 4:30pm. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compiling Accounts Payable paperwork.
• Matching invoices, packing slips, and Pos.
• Accounts Payable issues investigation (approvals, damages, receipts, etc.).
• Check runs.
• Sending payments.
• Processing subcontractor invoicing and payments.
• Corporate credit card review, coding, and reconciliation.
• Secondary job functions of billing and accounts receivable ..
• Other miscellaneous accounting and administrative projects.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum Associate degree in accounting or finance with at least an internship, preferably in the accounting space.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
