Accounting Manager jobs in Maine

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and help us grow through the development, implementation and management of our accounting systems and procedures. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to financial and asset accounting, as well as budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager should have knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and be able to manage the related systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards
• Develop and maintain accounting systems and procedures
• Manage and review financial reports, budgets and forecasts
• Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance
• Manage the use of Quantum ERP software
• Assist with audits and tax filings
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices
• Extensive experience with financial reporting and budgeting
• Excellent management, organizational and problem solving skills
• Highly proficient in ERP
