Accounts Payable Manager jobs in Utah

Position Summary:

J. Fisher Companies is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee invoice payments, vendor relationships, and cash management. The AP Manager will ensure appropriate funding of cash accounts and timely payment of vendor invoices.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flows by maintaining accurate records of transfers and intercompany receivables and payables
• Monitor AP cutoff process to ensure appropriate timing of invoices for all entities
• Maintain accurate records of cash balances, uncleared checks, and open accounts payable for multiple entities
• Assist in implementation of systems that will help streamline the invoicing and payment processes
• Train new employees in new vendor set up, invoice approvals, and invoice payments
• Maintain approval workflows across multiple entities

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• 7 years of experience in accounts payable
• 2 years of supervisory experience and managing communications with vendors related to outstanding payments
• Must be efficient with strong attention to detail
• Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information
• Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving

Preferences

· Prior experience with Sage, HH2 invoice approvals, and Corepay

· Experience in the construction industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
