Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager manages the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of an organization to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable and receivable registers to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager monitors account aging reports, identifies delinquent accounts, and refers accounts to collection agencies. Verifies customer credit limits and applicable payment terms. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant financial records. Audits methods and procedures of the accounts payable and receivable functions to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • POSITION SUMMARY:

    The AP Manager will lead the AP team in day-to-day invoice and payment processing and will assist the Director of Treasury and Financial Operations with month-end close responsibilities as well as help manage continuous improvement projects.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure all payables are recorded accurately in ROSS ERP and have been properly approved via APSmart approval workflow automation.
    • Review all payment runs with AP team and Director of Treasury and Financial Operations, making sure payments are made timely and adequate cash flows are available.
    • Ability to work onsite at least once a week to help process weekly check runs.
    • Lead and train AP Team, focusing on growth and development.
    • Assist Director of Treasury with Month-End Close Procedures.
    • Maintain vendor master data in both ROSS ERP and APSmart systems and perform periodic reconciliations between systems.
    • Work with Director of Treasury and Financial Operations and various teams/departments on continuous improvement and systems implementation projects.
    • Additional ad hoc projects as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 4 years of management experience in an accounting department
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
    • Strong written and verbal skills
    • Strong MS Office skills with a strong emphasis on Excel
    • Experience or strong understanding of manufacturing industry.
