General Summary of Responsibilities

• Reconciles receivables daily cash drawers, research and resolve discrepancies and posts to accounting software.
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as assigned by management.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Contact clients to ask about their overdue payments.
• Take action to encourage timely payments.
• Process payments and refunds.
• Resolve billing and customer credit issues.
• Update account status records and collection efforts.
• Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
• Conduct credit checks.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Experience

Knowledge of information accounting at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent, and approximately 2-5 years of work experience.
