We are looking for a motivated, organized and detail/number-oriented team player who can manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for a small construction company.

The following is a list of what can be expected:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using QuickBooks (Online, contractor version)
• Coordinate with Estimator/Pre-Construction Manager and/or Project Managers to ensure accurate:
• Schedule of Values
• Billing
• Allocation of costs
• Support Project Team to track project P&L.
• Accurately complete and submit requisition for payments/invoices and releases, etc.in the appropriate system and format.
• Track payment progress and contact customer to ensure timely payment.
• Maintain Retention Account
• Process any Certified Payrolls
• Complete documentation for any OCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program) or CCIP (Company Controlled Insurance Program)
• Complete any required documentation if bond(s) are required.
• Accurately enter invoices and receipts into QuickBooks.
• Ensure timely payments of invoices, maintain vendor relations.
• Prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications include:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s in accounting finance or business management or 5 years working in accounting, billing or accounts receivable/payable department.
• Organization, accuracy, and attention to detail is essential.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Construction billing is highly desirable.
