Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 120 bed, NON - PROFIT , skilled nursing facility located in Providence, Rhode Island. Established in 1874, Steere House provides short term, long term, and memory care services. We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals to join our team!

Responsible for implementing and coordinating activities for residents as assigned by the Activities Director.

We are seeking two compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Activity Assistants to join our Memory Care team. Applicants should have an understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, as well as experience in planning and facilitating activities.

Qualifications:

Current CNA license

Previous experience working in Memory Care is preferred

Good interpersonal skills, the ability to connect with residents

Understanding of the challenges faced by our residents with memory impairments

Creativity and initiative in running and adapting activities to meet changing needs of our residents.

Flexibility with schedule. Position is 22.5 - 30 hours per week and includes every other weekend

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
