JOB DESCRIPTION

The Licensed Counselor Supervisor supervises Counselors in the field of substance use and mental health disorders, and other clinical support staff delivering assessment, substance use disorder education and treatment, and case management to clients. Oversees client program: evaluates counselors’ work performance, audits client records to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and achievement of service delivery objectives. Serves as a professional resource to other counselors in resolving complex case problems and provides clinical supervision and guidance. Interprets and enforces the organization and facility policies and procedures, contributes to development of treatment protocols and processes. Performs other duties as assigned.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate client scheduling needs.

• Provide initial screenings/intakes/assessment; provide individual, and group counseling.

• Maintain thorough clinical documentation, including assessments, notes and evaluations.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Master's degree in Professional Counseling or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Work Experience: 3 -5 years job related experience

Certifications: Licensed in Maryland as with any of the following licenses: LCADC, LCSW-C or LCPC-S. You must be able to supervise CAC-AD, CSC-AD, and ADTs. Must be licensed to supervise.

• Skills: This job requires knowledge of computer-based productivity systems; professional, national and state ethical guidelines; mental health issues in higher educations; working with diverse populations and concerns; and successful collaboration with others.

Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
