Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health conditions. Responsibilities: - Conduct crisis intervention and provide emotional support to patients - Assist in individual and group counseling sessions - Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress - Assist with diagnostic evaluations and assessments - Implement behavioral therapy techniques under the guidance of licensed professionals - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans - Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and medication administration - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (preferred) - Previous experience working in a mental health setting (preferred) - Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment approaches - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm in stressful situations - Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in conducting research related to mental health topics Skills: - Crisis intervention - Individual and group counseling - Patient care - Diagnostic evaluation - Behavioral therapy techniques - Patient assessment - Research skills related to mental health topics Please note that all positions at our facility are paid, including internships.
