We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient admissions, providing administrative support, and ensuring a smooth admission process.

Duties:

- Coordinate patient admissions and discharge processes
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Answer phone calls and inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Assist with billing and coding tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Experience:

- Previous experience in a medical office or administrative role required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling procedures
- Familiarity with MatrixCare a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic health records
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
