Position Name: Temporary Legal Advertising Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Advertising Clerk to join our team for a temporary summer position. The ideal candidate will assist with various desk duties, customer service, and administrative tasks to support our legal advertising operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries regarding proofs and invoices.
- Aid walk-in customers.
- Respond to customer emails promptly and professionally.
- Check and verify proofs online.
- Scan and mail documents.
- Visit the county recorder's office for necessary filings and document retrievals.
- Learn and adhere to our procedures for processing fictitious business names and other legal advertisements.
- Assist in counting and managing competitors' counts.
