Anesthesia Technician jobs in the United States

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join our team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and possess knowledge of medical terminology, critical care, physiology, anatomy, and patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the anesthesia provider with patient care before, during, and after anesthesia procedures
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials
- Department and hospital safety practices and procedures
- Ensure the availability of appropriate equipment for emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information

Anesthesia machine checks. leak tests, sterilization of equipment , BLS certification required.

Qualifications:

- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anesthesiology,
- Familiarity with anesthesia systems and equipment (DME)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment such as the ICU
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
