Sets up and maintains case files for each grievance and collects the information required by organizational policies and applicable regulations. Being an Appeal Resolution Specialist conducts research and coordination needed to evaluate, process, respond to, and refer or close appeals. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Appeal Resolution Specialist typically reports to a supervisor. The Appeal Resolution Specialist works under moderate supervision. As an A / R Support Specialist , you will research general financial inquiries and processes all inbound and outbound correspondence.
You will also make updates to client systems with all necessary demographic, contract, and prelist related information.
Responsibilities :
Updating mail return and demographic updates on FACS and the corresponding hospital systems.
from patients, insurance carriers, internal or external clients regarding account status.
Able to identify and locate patient, insurance carrier or other third party that is liable for payment of account and initiates contact (via telephone, internet, etc.
to determine reason for non-payment, identify insurance options, and establish repayment arrangements.
