Job Purpose: The Communications and Programming Coordinator at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park plays a pivotal role in coordinating and executing various functions within the organization. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic individual capable of seamlessly integrating programming initiatives, marketing/communications strategies, and administrative duties to support the organization's objectives.
Duties:
· Disseminates internal and external communications, ensuring an accurate and engaging messaging and maintain databases related to communication tools.
· Implement effective communication and marketing strategies that build brand awareness, customer loyalty, and drives toward the goals of the organization,
· Manage the logistics of programming and events on and off Tech Park campus.
· Coordinate with partners for on-site programming, events, and visits.
· Providing administrative support to the management team on diverse projects focused on achieving the economic development and business goals of the Park.
· Schedule and oversee visits by students for educational programming on campus and including for the Science on a Sphere exhibit.
· A variety of diverse duties related to marketing, communications, and park programming and effective organizational administration.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's (Required)
· 2 year’s experience in related field
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
· Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, design tools such as Canva, database and CRM systems.
· Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and meetings.
