Art Manager manages the creative design and execution of visual communications to meet an organization's marketing or advertising objectives. Provides internal clients with design standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding, and identity. Being an Art Manager oversees the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. Monitors projects and timelines. Additionally, Art Manager stays current on latest trends. Develops and manages a network of vendors, freelance artists, and designers to utilize for project support. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Art Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Millennium Fine Art Inc. (MFAI) is looking to bring on board an art consultant for sales commission based compensation. We are introducing a very exciting new line of extraordinary sculptural work and need someone to contact and serve as a liaison with art galleries throughout the Southwestern United States.
What will you do?
> Seek opportunities for exhibition and sale of our new collection of gemstone sculptures.
>Research and reach out to individuals who may be interested purchasing and to relevant art galleries by email, phone and in person in your local geographic region and introduce our sculptures in pursuit of finding opportunities for them to be displayed and sold.
>Develop and maintain relationships with art galleries.
> Liaise with contacts, gallery owners and curators.
> Work with our art storage agent and galleries on shipping and display logistics for the sculptures.
What We’re Looking For:
> University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Art History or related field
> Experience working for and/or with Fine Art Galleries is required
>Schedule with sufficient flexibility and ability to physically visit local galleries and high end retail establishments during business hours
> Resourceful, eloquent, friendly, and presentable in written and verbal communications
> Focused, self-motivated, output-driven, and up for challenging goals/targets
> Knowledge of and enthusiasm for Fine Art and Art history is much preferred
