Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides direct supervision of the manufacturing technicians and equipment in the assembly area.  Responsibilities include scheduling, planning, work direction, shop orderliness, safety, training, and documentation for the assembly maintenance department.

Purpose:  To manage and direct all assembly manufacturing maintenance activities.

 Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of assembly tools, fixtures, and lines
• Coordinate activities of outside contractors/services
• Direct maintenance activities on utility systems
• Implement and maintain a Preventative Maintenance System
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies
• Direct training and education of workers to improve work performance
• Coordinate and monitor scheduled safety audits
• Punctual completion of OJT checklists and performance evaluations
• Completion of work orders as assigned to assembly from supporting departments
• Monitor/document CIP activity
• Conduct regular department meetings to communicate with direct employees
• Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvements, new product development, or 6- D corrective actions
• Demonstrate leadership commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and coach subordinates on their impact on TEAM QMS objectives
• Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
