Regularly evaluate that direct reports are abiding by safe work practices.
Provide input to Department Director regarding work performance of direct reports.
Perform routine inspections of all guest rooms to ensure the highest quality of hospitality standards are met for every guest.
Ensure work is performed within compliance of all policies, procedures and standards with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
Responsible for the accountability of housekeeping staff in the fulfillment of daily assignments, quality of work, and completing work in a timely manner.
Responsible for keeping Department Director informed when supplies are needed to maintain adequate levels of inventory for a clean, safe and comfortable environment for LJA guests.
Responsible for the supervision of housekeeping direct reports, which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for enforcing departmental and company policies and procedures, scheduling, training, and delegating work assignments.
Perform all other duties as assigned
A minimum of 14 years relevant experience in hotel hospitality as it relates to housekeeping.
Must have demonstrated effective communication skills, client relation skills, and a commitment to providing responsive and conscientious customer service.
Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs, multiple task demands, and work structures.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule formats.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, MSD sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have excellent organization skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of customer, client and employee questions.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include nights/weekends/holidays as required

Must have adequate vision to carry out daily activities.
Must be able to see close and at a distance (20 feet or more), good peripheral vision.
Hours: Monday through Sunday, days/weekends/nights/holidays as required.
