Position Overview

As an Assistant Controller at Diamond Line Delivery, you will play a key role in financial management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial statement analysis, budgeting, and a strong understanding of GAAP procedures. Experience in lease management and financial systems is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Controller and finance team to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee lease management activities, including lease accounting, lease abstraction, and compliance with lease agreements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures related to financial reporting and accounting      processes.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software, recommending improvements as needed to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification not required but would be a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards.
• Experience with lease management and lease accounting.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
