Job Summary
Assists and supports the Director in all aspects of management of the academy, to include human
resources, marketing, customer relations, financial systems, quality control and physical facility.
● Hired by the respective Kiddie Academy, paid by Three Colors Flag (reimbursed by Kiddie Academy) and works full time directly in the school unit.
● Attends general meetings at the main office once a month.
● Assists in the management of the academy to ensure effective and cost-conscious operation.
● Assumes full responsibility for academy management in director’s absence
● Performs all duties assigned of teacher during portion of day assigned to classroom
● Accepts temporary work assignments in the event regularly scheduled personnel are not available
● Responsible for completing at least 12 clock hours (or more based on local regulations) of approved continued training during the licensing year.

Regulations:
● Assists in completing and submitting required paperwork and record keeping on a timely basis, and maintaining in an organized, up-to-date manner.
● Helps ensure that quality control of programs is sound and meets state and Kiddie Academy® requirements. Provides feedback to the director on quality control issues and assists in resolving quality control issues.
● Responsible for the full compliance of teacher-student ratios in each class.
● Create food menu, place food order, control, purchase disposable items. Post weekly menus for the following week
● Ensure lesson plans are posted weekly
Responsible for the school unit
● Supervision of General Maintenance (curb appeal, alarms, regular maintenance reports)

● Responsible for enrollments - Primary goal is focused on new enrollment, follow-up with inquiries
and academy tours in order to increase enrollment.
● Develops a strong working knowledge of Kiddie Academy® Philosophy, Mission, Core Values, and programs in order to communicate the same to current clients, prospective customers or other community entities.
● Responsible for building positive relationships with families, and address concerns and/or complaints in a professional manner and sustain ongoing communication.
● Assists in recognizing parental concerns, evaluation of the course of action and responding professionally to parents’ needs.
● Answers and return phone calls, reply emails promptly
● Responsible for Tours, CRM management on KARES and follow up with customers - have tours scheduled and folders prepared. Creates a personal and inviting tour for each family.
● Builds a positive relationship with students (knowing them by their name!)
● Periodically visits local businesses to establish partnerships and develop common strategies.
● Reception / Lobby area is free of clutter. Boxes delivered are promptly put away leaving the reception with a clear and clean look always.
● Through the day, assistant director and director clean the main doors and vestibule computer removing finger marks on the glass
● The Assistant Director is always welcoming by greeting and acknowledging each family or employee that enters or exits the building. It is always willing to assist parents and employees with information or helping open the door, carrying materials in etc.

Monday - Thursday: Kiddie Academy Shirt preferable ¾ button down shirt, beige or black dress pants, enclosed shoes. Friday: Kiddie Academy button down shirt, jean (no ripped or torn jeans), enclosed shoes.

● Oversee appropriateness and preparedness of the weekly menu;
● Perform random weekly inspections in classrooms/kitchen to ensure staff is following the Food
Program guidelines (portion sizes, quantity of milk, wearing gloves, etc.)
● Train new employees on how to serve food according Food Program standards.
