Assistant Pharmacy Director assists department head in daily duties and assumes responsibility in his/her absence. Oversees pharmacists and provides pharmacy services. Being an Assistant Pharmacy Director compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. Typically requires a master's degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. Additionally, Assistant Pharmacy Director requires state Pharmacist License. Typically reports to top management. Position Summary:
The Assistant Director (AD) of Pharmacy will be responsible for the leadership of the Pharmacy Department in the absence of or in addition to the Senior Director of Pharmacy Services.
