POSITION SUMMARY:

Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma, is currently seeking to fill a vacant, full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in Biology. 

The Bachelor of Biology program includes three options, Medical Molecular Biology, Environmental Conservation, and General Biology. The successful candidates will primarily teach courses in molecular biology, genetics, human anatomy, microbiology, and introductory biology. Travel to our other campuses (Bartlesville and Pryor) may be required.

In addition to teaching, these positions require involvement in mentoring undergraduate research, curriculum development, and student advising. 

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Deliver high-quality courses, including Molecular Biology, Genetics, Human Anatomy, Microbiology, and Introductory biology courses;
• Conduct research in the field of molecular and cellular biology;
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and research endeavors;
• Contribute to the growth and development of the biology department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D. in Biology or a related field highly required;
• A strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students;
• Demonstrated research expertise in molecular and cellular biology;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
