Position Title:
Sales Representative

The Job You Will Perform:

• Represent the North American Container (NAC) business in the packaging market professionally and effectively.
• Manage a sales territory by cultivating and maintaining robust customer relationships.
• Generate profitable sales through routine in-person interactions with both potential and existing clients.
• Assess and address customers' packaging needs, providing tailored recommendations to meet those needs while adhering to regional and plant management directives.
• Drive business growth with strategic accounts by developing and executing Key Account Plans.
• Enable profitable decision-making by leveraging knowledge of general business principles, internal financial management, and industry practices.
• Identify and implement Value Propositions with priority customers, utilizing corporate and business capabilities and resources.
• Continuously evaluate market conditions, the competitive environment, and opportunities for innovation to create an advantage.
• Travel to multiple customer sites and meetings weekly, working in various environments, including client sites and trade events (50% or more of the time).
• May lead account teams.

The Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge You Will Bring:

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent work experience in a related field
• 2 years of sales experience
• Valid driver's license is required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Candidate Details:
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience, currently employed in a role selling corrugated packaging, and a drive to develop new accounts and business opportunities. They should possess knowledge of the sales territory (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and potentially Canada) and be able to start immediately. Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and exceptional professional communication are essential. The candidate should be comfortable with a lower base salary in favor of an uncapped commission program and hold either a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
