Job Title: Director of Nursing

Job Summary: The Director of Nursing will oversee all nursing operations, aligning departmental goals with overarching organizational policies and promoting adherence to the highest clinical standards. This leadership role requires both strategic oversight and operational proficiency to enhance service delivery across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and assess departmental functions ranging from patient care delivery to complaint resolution, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and enforce departmental goals, strategies, and benchmarks consistent with legal, ethical, and administrative directives of the healthcare facility.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and management of staff, fostering a culture of continuous education and professional growth.
• Strategically plan and evaluate the budgetary allocations of the department, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance with financial directives.
• Spearhead the integration of evidence-based practices into clinical and operational protocols.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits to maintain and enhance operational efficiencies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Profound knowledge of Joint Commission standards and extensive experience (5-7 years minimum) in either a clinical or administrative management capacity.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities, strong decision-making skills, and the capability to independently manage complex situations under pressure.
