Summary of Job Duties:
We are seeking faculty applicants eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. The position is a tenure-track, 12-month, full-time faculty position with an academic appointment in the Nursing Science/Practice Department.
Qualifications:- Ph.D. in nursing or a related field.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, a history of extramurally funded research, a robust publications record, and presentations at scientific conferences is required.
- Evidence of excellent teaching and student mentoring, especially in a PhD program.
- An innovative thought leader with teaching experience in a graduate-level program.
- Evidence of ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Demonstrate a scholarly focus in obesity, nutrition/physical activity, geriatrics/gerontology, cancer survivorship, quality of life, social determinants of health, sexual health, cardiovascular health, or health promotion/disease prevention across the life cycle.
- A cross-cutting focus on rural health and health disparities is strongly preferred.
