Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Physics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Physics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. - Teach Federal Board Physics to XI & XII students – and some ECAT curriculum,
- Develop curriculum outlines, and lesson plans for every lecture.
- Ensure quality execution of the curriculum within the planned timelines.
- Create and design internal exams and assessments to check student progress.
- Check examination copies and provide students with effective feedback on time.
- Create or modify student handouts/ subject notes to make them an effective resource.
- Provide students with guidance and strategies for examination success.
- Accountable for student progress and improvement in his/her subject.
- Use technology to record and/or live stream classes as and when required.
- As Classroom Coach, assist, counsel and motivate students to achieve their growth and scholastic objectives.
- Ability to teach in a virtual classroom environment.
- Open to new ideas, learning and growing.
- Good communication skills, must be able to work with teams and achieve multiple objectives.
- Good documentation and writing skills.
- MS Word expertise required, proficiency at MS Excel would be a plus.
- A great work ethic and a knack for continuous improvement
- ECAT teaching experience will be a plus.
