Oversees the operations of student financial services, billing and receivables, and cashiering functions of the university/college. Being an Associate Bursar ensures compliance with university, state, and federal regulations and standard accounting procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Associate Bursar typically reports to Bursar. The Associate Bursar manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Director, US Policy will support the US commercial business with a focus on the Oncology and Biopharmaceuticals therapeutic areas, reporting to the Head of State and Federal Public Health Policy in the US Corporate Affairs & Government Affairs team. This position will play a critical role in advancing the company’s US policy priorities and executing strategic alignment and pull-through of proactive and reactive policy shaping opportunities including in the areas of: 1) pricing, reimbursement, access, and affordability at the State and Federal levels, 2) patents and intellectual property, 3) tax, workforce development, or 4) US-foreign relations.
