Associate Dean of Mathematics assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of mathematics. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Mathematics provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Mathematics typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Mathematics typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Project Engineer provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to
ensure that the work complies with all basic engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design
instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems. Works closely supervised and
solves problems of limited scope and complexity.
Responsible for:
1. Processing submittals.
2. Processing RFI’s.
3. Keeping up daily work tickets.
4. Posting RFI’s and change orders.
5. Tracking and managing change orders.
6. Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
7. Documenting project issues/conditions.
8. Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
9. Submitting hours and cost codes.
10. Obtaining permits, badges and access requests in advance
11. Assists with preparing change orders.
12. Manage project library.
13. Participates in KPR (Key Project Review).
Education
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program) with 0-2 years of experience.
