Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of an undergraduate program. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Master's degree
Minimum five years' experience in higher education setting with international responsibilities.
Leadership in building collaborative, outcome-focused teams to communicate goals and implement initiatives. A team-oriented attitude with attention to detail and superior organizational skills. Demonstrated commitment to a mission driven organization that includes creative visioning and commitment to service.
Implementation and management experience maximizing short- and long-term organizational goals and objectives.
Demonstrated success in upholding international, national, state and institutional standards, best practices, policies and procedures. Working knowledge and experience with immigration policies, financial guarantee processes and international academic credentials.
Success in building and sustaining client or constituent relationships resulting in measurable, positive outcomes.
Demonstrated strong presentation, writing, problem solving, and public relations skills.
Minimum five years post baccalaureate experience to include both broad supervisory responsibilities and process management.
Must have valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' experience in admissions or enrollment management leadership role as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience in the supervision and development of professional full-time staff.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement international admission and recruitment strategies, policies and procedures for short-term and long-term organizational objectives and goals.
Admissions Counselor experience with international recruitment territory responsibilities.
Working with campus constituents to implement enrollment initiatives including communicating goals and building collaborative, goal-focused relationships.
Strategic planning to maximize international recruitment efforts and admissions practices including staffing strategies, front-line service, and admission evaluation. Communication funnel management, CRM and SIS database experience
