The Director, CVRM Brand Communications is a critical member of the US Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) Corporate Affairs team leading on the external communications strategy and execution for US CVRM and its executive leadership.
Job Description
The US CVRM Brand Communications Director will be instrumental in solidifying AstraZeneca’s vision to understand and improve the lives of the communities we look to serve, focusing on AstraZeneca’s development and commercialization efforts in chronic cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic (CVRM) conditions. This role will lead and partner with the broader Corporate Communications team and other corporate and government affairs colleagues to coordinate relevant reputation-enhancing content for the US across brands and therapies, including thought leadership, relevant CVRM policy communication, partnerships, and milestones. The successful candidate will be a strategic problem solver, with a talent to develop project plans and execute communications optimally. Expert-level organization and time management are imperative to support numerous projects, deliver in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with multiple functions and/or regions and successfully partner with internal clients and leaders. This candidate will possess a good blend of strategic planning, know-how and experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement, strong communication skills and the ability to navigate a heavily matrixed corporate environment.
