The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Norwich University seeks to fill a lecturer position with an expected start date of August 14th, 2023. Lecturers are full-time, fully benefitted positions. The successful candidate will teach 15 contact hours per week of both lectures and laboratories at the undergraduate level. The Department will make every effort to assign courses so as to maximize the person's teaching strengths. Although it is not a requirement of the position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to pursue research that includes undergraduate students.
Candidates will have earned a Ph.D. in chemistry or related field and a strong commitment to the education of undergraduates in the arts, sciences, and engineering (prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred); A.B.D.s are welcome to apply. Very well qualified individuals with a Master's Degrees and teaching experience may be considered.
