Asst. Professor - Civil Engineering jobs in Maryland

The dispatcher position is the company representative responsible for tracking the day-to-day truck check-in process delivering different kinds of materials at a construction site. As a member of our operations team, the dispatcher will be responsible for managing and maintaining records of all trucks entering the facility on a day-to-day basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the truck check-in process on a day-to-day basis
• Able to identify the kind of material being delivered and provide directions to truck drivers where to unload the material coming on site.
• Able to keep track of all the daily reports and document delivery tickets of all dump trucks
• The Dispatcher will be responsible to open and close the facility during operating hours
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be a self-starter with attention to details

• Perform other duties, as and when assigned.

Required & Preferred Skills

• Valid Driver License
• Reliable transportation
• 2 years of experience in Construction Trucking or Dispatch – preferred
• Experience within the trucking industry – preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel)
• High level of written and oral professionalism
