Assistant Professor Tenure-Track Faculty Position
The seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor to broaden existing scholarship within the college and the U-M community. This position is part of a new faculty cluster hire from M-PACT in the Biomedical and Health Sciences at the University of Michigan that will hire 30 new tenure-track assistant professors into three interdisciplinary research clusters: Basic Biomedical Research; Clinical-Translational Research; and Social and Behavioral Research, to build a sustainable scientific community that is diverse, equitable, inclusive, and welcoming.
The successful candidate will have 75% protected research time for their first 7 years and will be expected to build an independent, externally funded research program. Teaching and service expectations will be defined in collaboration with the Department Chair.
