Responsibilities- Associate Professor of Kinesiology- Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Exercise Science and Public Health Education and Promotion and prepares students for professional employment.
- Oversees the implementation of Wellness requirement for the university general education core, including syllabus development, course scheduling, and faculty recruitment.
- Oversees the KHSS Healthy Diploma certificate
- Advise a minimum of 30 students per year
- Course responsibilities include: Sport Exercise Health and Behavior, Wellness, Honors Wellness, Health and Wellness Coaching, Theory of Health Behavior, and supervising student interns.
- PhD/EdD in Exercise Science and/or Public Health and Promotion
- A minimum of ten years of university/college teaching experience required
- Experience mentoring student research projects required
- Experience supervising students in internships required
- Record of scholarly achievement/productivity in Exercise Science and Wellness
- Certifications; ACSM – EP (certified exercise physiologist)
