Professor - History provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - History typically reports to a department head. Position Description
Lincoln University of Missouri, a land-grant HBCU founded in 1866 and located in the state capital, invites applications for a full-time, 9-month faculty position in African American History. The African Diaspora, and/or African History. The subfield is open, but a secondary field in Gender or Women's History is desirable. The successful candidate will be an engaging, student-centered teacher who will teach courses ranging from U.S. and/or World History surveys to a variety of upper-division and graduate offerings in their area of specialization. Other responsibilities include scholarship, advising, and committee work.
