Asst. Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. · Assist in carrying out physical therapy rehabilitation related activities and duties which are in accordance with supervising Physical Therapist plan of care for each patient, in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
· Duties include:
o Supervising and demonstrating safe and proper use of equipment and exercises
o Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment within the clinic
o Learn how to properly and safely setup modalities that patients will use during their treatment session

· Additional Qualifications/Preferred:
o Experience working with patients of various backgrounds
o Be able to handle multiple tasks at a time…adaptable
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· High School Graduate
· Must have competent computer and clerical skills
· Preferred: Experience with use of medical billing software and Electronic Medical Record Software (WebPT)
· Demonstrate and represent the culture of the clinic, which has been in business for 38 years.
· Able to be in clinic M-F
