Athletic Trainer treats and prevents athletic injuries by developing therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility under the direction of a physician. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Being an Athletic Trainer may require state license to practice. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports science or equivalent. Additionally, Athletic Trainer typically requires certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Athletic Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Summary
Provides athletic training services per contract to schools, organizations, and events. Athletic trainer will provide injury assessment, treatment, first aid, prevention, and reconditioning services as assigned and set forth by the BOC.
Education and / or Experience
Master’s degree preferred.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$23.75 - $36.00 per hour
