Back Bartender jobs in Vermont

A new luxury boutique hotel and 45 seat French bistro restaurant. Our ideal candidate is an efficient, detail-oriented bartender with a passion for providing amazing wine, specialty cocktails and food. The right candidate will have a great attitude and be a team player. This position comes with infinite room for growth within the organization.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Take guests orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating tabs
- Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
