    Summary of Position

     

    Oversees and supervises individual Banquet Event as assigned by Banquet Manager. Responsible for client satisfaction as regards both food and service. Responsible for training and supervising the server/bartenders.

    • Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.

    1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
    • Review pertinent BEO (Banquet Event Order) for all details outlined for assigned Event(s).
    • Assign tasks to individual Servers during Event and supervise performance.
    • Assign and supervise PRE and POST Event support activities i.e. polishing, table and buffet sets, breakdown.
    • Resolve any Event problems to Client's satisfaction.
    • Conduct and track training of new hires.
    • Advise Banquet Manager on Inventory needs to maintain PAR levels.
    • Fill out Captain's Report after each Event.
    • Utilize computer skills to operate in Microsoft Word, Food Trak, Daylight, and Agilysys Programs
    • Be able to operate Agilysys POS.

    • High School Diploma or GED; Must possess good oral and written communications skills, as well as quality people skills; Must have worked in banquet department a minimum of six months; Must be able to work all shifts; Must have a proven record of dependability of performance.
