    Position Overview: An upscale hotel in Park City, UT, is seeking an experienced Banquet Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality with a minimum of 5 years of experience and a proven track record in managing multiple fine dining catering and production operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Hiring and Training: Recruit and train culinary and back-of-house (BOH) staff on new menu items, menu descriptions, and kitchen procedures.
    • Staff Oversight: Supervise and oversee all production staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and service. Oversee a staff of up to 15 individuals.
    • Team Management: Plan, organize, develop, and manage a cohesive team that aligns with the hotel's brand values and standards.
    • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menus and establish policies and procedures for delivering superior food and beverage products and services.
    • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality service that meets or exceeds hotel standards.
    • Employee Selection: Select, hire, and train key employees to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality.
    • Proven experience in running multiple fine dining catering/production operations.
    • Extensive experience in catering, event, and banquet operations.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
