Shipping Coordinator Job Description

Responsibilities

 Preparing and providing shipping quotes to the customers

 Coordinating daily operations with the Shipping Manager

 Creating and maintaining a report of the daily shipping activities

 Resolving any customer queries and complaints

 Obtaining shipment invoices and checking the accuracy of the same

 Assisting in preparing and printing shipping documents

 Checking whether the shipping contents match the shipping label details

 Packing and assembling boxes or packages to be shipped

 Checking and keeping a track of the inventory supplies

 Communicating and understanding the customer’s preferred courier mode

 Scheduling packages for shipment

Requirements

 Proven work experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Shipping Clerk, or a similar role in the Logistics department

 Familiarity with the shipping procedures

 Strong time management and organizational skills

 Good communication and interpersonal skills

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel

 Ability to lift and carry heavy objects

 Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Displaying multitasking abilities

 Ability to offer excellent customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
