Behavioral Home Care Aide jobs in Colorado
Behavioral Home Care Aide provides household management activities and care for patients suffering from mental illness and developmental disabilities. Assists patient with medications and activities of daily living skills, including personal hygiene. Being a Behavioral Home Care Aide establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and implements treatment plans under the supervision of a professional clinician. May be required to document progress in accordance with established procedures. Additionally, Behavioral Home Care Aide may require previous experience working with patients suffering with behavioral health disorders. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Behavioral Home Care Aide 's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Home Health Aide wanted in Westminster, CO! Schedule is flexible! This is a opportunity to provide quality care to a patient in the comfort of their home!

Responsibilities- Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
- Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
- Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications- Current CPR certification
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Dependable transportation
