Benefits Director oversees the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are chosen to be equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and to be cost effective. Being a Benefits Director establishes practices for evaluating existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Makes high-level decisions to modify existing benefits programs or institute new ones. Additionally, Benefits Director requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to top management. The Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Cultivating referral relationships within your community is essential for success. Top producers can earn between $100,000 - $130,000 annually with competitive salary, uncapped monthly bonus, and quarterly bonuses in their first year.

Bonus
External candidates have an opportunity to earn a $3,000 sign-on bonus by either having an active P&C or Personal Lines license or sigining up for our licensing program and passing the state's insurance licensing exam before the start date.

Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation : Drive at least 75% of lead generation efforts by actively sourcing and prospecting potential new customers within the community.
Leverage personal and professional networks, develop new relationships, and drive referrals leading to sales.
Follow-up on Leads : Dedicate time to remotely follow up on leads from community engagement, those provided by the company, and nurture relationships to convert leads into sales opportunities.
Utilize effective communication and sales techniques to engage prospects and overcome objections.
Community Engagement : Establish yourself as a trusted insurance advisor by engaging with community organizations, events, and networking groups.
Attend local gatherings, host events / booths, participate in outreach activities, partner with local leaders, and represent Allstate positively in the community.
Sales Presentations : Conduct thorough needs assessments and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers.
Closing Sales : Utilize strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge to close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive, seamless experience.
Continuous Learning & Development : Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes to maintain a deep understanding of insurance products and services.
Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
