The Healthcare Strategy Analyst position is responsible for working with Underwriting, Data Consultants, Account Managers, Producers, and Clients in preparing requests for proposals, obtaining and analyzing carrier quotes, inputting & analyzing data from various automation systems, and maintaining a small book of business. It also works collaboratively with the underwriting & data teams to perform financial & data analysis of a client’s healthcare plans.

What You'll Do

• Execute competitive bidding of all employee benefits coverage lines.
• Prepare PowerPoints outlining financial and contractual analysis according to company policy.
• Review vendor proposals for accuracy.
• Assist Underwriting and Data Consultants to evaluate, determine, and recommend alternative coverages, pricing, options, and plan design changes based on analysis of available plan elements and on client/prospect goals.
• Produce deliverables timely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
• Work jointly with Underwriting to forecast and develop projections.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendor representatives.
• Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.
• Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence.
• Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
• Represent AssuredPartners positively and professionally with both internal and external Clients.
• Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Travel is expected to be up to 5% in this role

What You'll Need

• Strong employee benefits knowledge and/or math, economics, finance background preferred
• Great communicator up, down, and across the organization
• Excels in time management while working with various deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – excel proficiency a must
• Strong PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems
