Bindery Technician performs various machine and manual operations to complete print binding and finishing processes. Completes tasks including measuring, cutting, collating, inserting, folding, stapling, or gluing to produce finished bound products. Being a Bindery Technician sets up, operates, tends, and maintains bindery equipment. Inspects equipment for malfunctions, troubleshoots and resolves problems. Additionally, Bindery Technician follows all required quality and safety procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bindery Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. TPI is currently seeking experienced Bindery Operators that can Stitch, Cut or Fold to work in our Pennsauken, NJ location.
Position Summary: This position will set-up and operate Equipment in the Bindery department. This position will also maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical challenges and follow stringent quality control processes.

Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods and frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. Continuous vision. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent hand/wrist/finger movement for gripping mailer bundles and carrying mail trays. Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. to move palletized load. Frequent reaching, twisting, and gripping up to 25 lbs. to move paper stock. Occasional crouching and use of hand tools during routine machine maintenance.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday. 1st shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 2nd shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; 3rd shift is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Weekend hours may be required during peak production times. This position typically works 40-50 hours per week
