JOB PROFILE

Processes and verifies accuracy of vehicle titles and vehicle sales contracts by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Prepares, copies and mails title and car deal documents to customer or submit online.
• Submit legal transfer documents to the DMV such as duplicate titles and registration for customers and company service vehicles.
• Verify and correct title work on trade-ins.
• Scans and files all paperwork associated with car deal.
• Ability to type is a must. Electric typewriters will be used to frequently type titles.
• Corresponds with motor vehicle agencies to clear automobile titles.
• Obtains title, signs registration documents on cars traded in, verifies and corrects title work on trade-ins.

Individual must have good interpersonal skills, good communication skills (verbal and written), basic computer knowledge, ability to work well with others, professional appearance, good math and clerical skills, working knowledge of office machines, positive attitude, excellent organization skills. Individual should perform duties with little or no supervision, read and comprehend instructions and information, be able to work weekends and overtime (if needed). Individual should be honest, ethical, dependable and a team player.
