Job Title: Vet Center Practice Manager
Reporting to: Director of Veterinary Services
Hours per week: 40
Position Type: Paid/Non-Exempt – ($62,000-$65,000 DOQ)
Shifts: Monday – Friday (some Saturdays may be required); on-site
Position Responsibilities:
Desired Experience:
- 3 years of effective leadership and management experience with; a disciplined decision-making approach, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- 3 business acumen experience including; scheduling, customer service, financials, and process improvement (Veterinary Practice experience preferred but not necessary)
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience working in a clinic setting (preferred)
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) (preferred)
- Strong communication skills both in written and oral format
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Customer service - provide consistent and timely communication with fosters, adopters and veterinary partners especially in escalated and highly emotional situations
- Proficient computer and technology skills: Clinic Software, Gmail, Google Docs, etc.
- Great organizational skills and time management skills
