    Reporting to: Director of Veterinary Services

    Hours per week: 40

    Position Type: Paid/Non-Exempt – ($62,000-$65,000 DOQ)

    Shifts: Monday – Friday (some Saturdays may be required); on-site

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily practice operations including; scheduling, billing, OSHA, process workflows, inventory practices, document retention and escalated client/patient issues
    • Employee Management:
    • Recruiting and Onboarding
    • Review process
    • Performance Management
    • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that process and best practice standards are being followed and met
    • Oversee IT issues, purchasing equipment and system training
    • Provides back-up and support staff coverage when need
    • Fosters a positive work culture and environment through leadership and open communication

    Desired Experience:

    - 3 years of effective leadership and management experience with; a disciplined decision-making approach, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

    - 3 business acumen experience including; scheduling, customer service, financials, and process improvement (Veterinary Practice experience preferred but not necessary)

    - Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field; or equivalent experience

    - 1-2 years of experience working in a clinic setting (preferred)

    - Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) (preferred)

    - Strong communication skills both in written and oral format

    - Self-starter and highly motivated

    - Customer service - provide consistent and timely communication with fosters, adopters and veterinary partners especially in escalated and highly emotional situations

    - Proficient computer and technology skills: Clinic Software, Gmail, Google Docs, etc.

    - Great organizational skills and time management skills

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
