Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team in Bentonville, AR. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the company's financial data and compliance. This role requires a high level of accuracy and an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
· Ensure compliance with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
· Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
· Perform payroll duties, including processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
· Record daily financial entries and reconciliations, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
· Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Perform general ledger entries and record payments and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
· Assist with tax preparation and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
· Provide support during financial audits and implement any necessary changes based on audit findings.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and reflective of all business activities.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Education and Experience:
