We are a busy CPA Firm looking to hire an individual who is detail oriented, meticulous, and hard-working and enjoys staying busy for a bookkeeper position in our office. We are looking for an individual who can offer enthusiasm as well as organization and communication skills. We are seeking an applicant who is looking for a career opportunity in accounting and bookkeeping. Professional Bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required. Self-motivated individuals who are looking for a new opportunity and are willing to apply their skills in a professional environment will be an asset to our growing team. Pay is based on production. Responsibilities of this job include but is not limited to:

· Transaction entry: Downloading bank/credit card transactions; Accounts Payable - Entering checks, bills, bill payments, etc.; Accounts Receivable – creation of invoices, posting of payments to customer ledger, etc.; Journal Entries and adjustments

· Bank/Credit Card Reconciliation

· Payroll: Processing and importing payroll information into QuickBooks

· Online sales tax filings

· Filing and documentation: Client documents and completed work

· Client communication: Phone calls/emails with client and to vendors on behalf of client

· Photocopying/scanning

· Typing data entry
